Our 2025/2026 PTA Board is off and running this year with a fun lineup of events throughout the year. Some are during school hours (Heritage Celebrations, STEAM Events, Assemblies) while others are for the whole family (Fall Fest, STEAM Night, Family Fun Night).
All are welcome to join our event committees where responsibilities range from idea think tanks, to organizing and community outreach, to execution the day of the event. Wherever your interests lay, there is room for you!

Why Join?
Enhanced Communication: You will receive our Dolphin Digest newsletter and communications containing information about events and what’s happening at Jackson. It provides a platform to discuss concerns, share ideas, and work together to address issues.
Community Building: We organize events and activities that bring the school community together. This helps build relationships among parents, teachers, and students, creating a stronger, more supportive school environment. (summer kinder events, Family Fun Night, STEAM Night…)
Support for School Activities: We often fundraise to support school programs such as STEAM experiences, Heritage Celebrations, and assemblies. We also fund Teacher Grants to provide educational materials for our teachers.
Volunteer Opportunities: If you enjoy volunteering, the PTA offers numerous opportunities to get involved in school activities, from organizing events to helping in the classroom.
Networking: Joining the PTA allows you to connect with other parents, which can be valuable for sharing experiences and advice about parenting and education.
Personal Satisfaction: Contributing to your child's education and seeing the positive impact of your involvement can be very rewarding.
Influence on School Policy and Programs: PTAs often play a role in shaping school policies and programs. By joining, you can help influence decisions that affect your child’s education and the overall school environment.
Overall, joining the PTA is a way to actively participate in your child’s education and contribute to a positive and enriching school experience.
